Jr. Irish / NIFA Soccer Club Scholarship Program Information and Application Instructions
All Jr. Irish / NIFA players and families are expected to “pay to play.” The Club offers partial player fee assistance only and players/families are expected to fund the remaining portion of their costs. Uniform costs are the responsibility of the player. Please note that no application will be considered if the player has unpaid fees from a prior season.
Please provide all requested information. Incomplete applications will be returned and not considered for the season. All information provided is solely for the purpose of determining fee assistance grants and will be held in confidence by those designated by the JR. IRISH / NIFA Board to handle the scholarship program.
In order to be considered you must submit the following information along with your application:
- Prior Year Federal Tax Return
- A current paystub for both parents
- Copy of any federal or
- A statement of need identifying your extenuating circumstances
- Player Fee (see below)

Deliberate misrepresentation, inaccuracies, and/or incomplete information provided on this application will be cause for expulsion from the Club and full and immediate payment of all fees will be required.

Privacy Act Statement: Verification efforts may be carried out through Club financial reviews and audits and may include; contacting employers to determine income, contacting welfare agencies to determine current certification of benefits, contacting the State Employment Security Office to determine the amount of benefits received, and checking the documentation provided by household members to prove the amount of income received. Expulsion from the NIFA/Jr. Irish Soccer Club, Inc. and legal actions to recover fees may result if incorrect information is reported.
